Unleashing Creativi-Tea: Chatime's 3rd Global Tea-Rista Championship Sets a Brewing Spectacle!
Chatime hosted the third annual Global Tea-Rista Competition. This year's event, held in Hsinchu, attracted teams from seven nations, making it the largest competition to date. Team Philippines clinched the title, showcasing exceptional tea-making skills.
Aries and Ana from Team Philippines, with years of combined experience at Chatime, impressed judges with their inventive tea creation, incorporating Taiwan's signature pineapple coconut flavor. The duo skillfully blended mango concentrates and sparkling water, resulting in a visually stunning and delicious concoction.
Australia's Leonard and Luksiak won the Creative Competition with their "Dream Land" beverage, inspired by the popular film Barbie. The drink's enchanting colors and concept wowed the judges.
Guest challenger Daniel Ochefu from Hsinchu Leopards impressed with his "Purple Storm Special" drink, incorporating the team's purple identity.
Over 50 countries participated in preliminary rounds, with eight representative teams competing in Taiwan. Notably, Palau and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) joined for the first time.
Chairman Henry Wang emphasized Chatime's values of quality, innovation, and enjoyment. The competition aimed to inspire partners worldwide and spread positive energy in the bubble tea industry.
The competition comprised three main events: Standard, Creative, and Bonus Rounds. Contestants were evaluated on service, quality, speed, and cleanliness.
To enhance the experience, organizers provided a range of local ingredients, creating surprising taste sensations. The competition is expected to lead to global store improvements and new offerings.
