Chatime International Service Day is a yearly activity held every 6th June in celebration of Chatime International Anniversary. This entails a global movement initiated across all Chatime markets with the objective of giving back to the community & the environment.
Due to the nature of our business operation, contributing to the protection and conservation of our environment is a mandatory initiative for Chatime. Hence, environmental protection has always been on top of Chatime’s priorities. As a global bubble tea brand, we always wonder if there is more we could do for the environment, the people, and the world.
In 2021, Chatime collaborates with the world’s largest conservation organization-World Wildlife Fund (WWF), which Chatime acts as an environmental influencer to raise funds and support global conservation work.
A fundraising page “2021 Chatime CommuniTEA: It‘s Eco Time.” is set up on the WWF Panda Nation Platform. This is the platform for global Chatime customers to interact and involve with the campaign. Encouraging both Chatime customers and public to be part of this good cause and show supports in nature conservation as a united Chatime Family.
Throughout the years, Chatime has sincerely committed to giving back to the community and dedicated corporate social responsibility initiatives that adhere to on an annual basis.
At the end of 2020, Chatime CommuniTEA program was officially launched in line with a series of CSR initiatives to be carried out, including the “Christmas at Chatime” event. Every beginning of December, Chatime Bubble Tea Truck has driven to rural areas around Taiwan delivering bubble tea.
We believe that bubble tea brings people happiness especially during this time of the year, as an iconic global bubble tea brand, it’s the least we could do for our community

In order to raise wider awareness of blood donation, Chatime partnered with Taiwan Blood Services Foundation to hold a blood donation event under Chatime CommuniTEA CSR program with the universal world blood donor day slogan- “Share Life, Give Blood”.
The event was open to both Chatime employees and the public. There were free Chatime pearl milk tea and Bake Code pastries provided on site as appreciation for the voluntary, unpaid donors.
Many residents in the area also showed up to be in part of the good cause, “I am a regular donor, so when I heard about Chatime blood donation event, I was thrilled and can’t wait to participate” commented by a 45-year-old resident who lives nearby. It is reported that nearly 100 units of blood are collected at the end of the day.
Started from the outbreak in May, a spike in locally transmitted infections was announced by the Taiwan government nationally. The situation has soon become out of control in less than a month, with fatality-per-infection rate risen from 0.59% to 2.78%, even higher than the global average of 2.14% record.
In order to show support for the medical frontliners, a free meal giveaway campaign was held under Chatime CommuniTEA program.
In June, a total of 6 giveaways have been held in different hospitals throughout Hsinchu County, delivering approximately 500 free Kingza Bentos and 500 cups of Chatime Taichi Pearl Milk Tea.
